50% deposit must be paid by 1st November for Xmas and 4 weeks prior to Easter to guarantee reservation.  There will be no refund at all within these time frames unless and until the premises are re-let for total period.  Outside of the minimum period of notice, an administration fee of $50.00 will apply before the remainder is returned.

mid season periods

If the booking is cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival, a full refund will be made less the administration fee of $50.00

If the booking is cancelled with notice given less than 14 days prior to arrival, there will be no refund unless the unit is relet for the total period of the original booking.  An administration fee of $50.00 will apply before the remainder is refunded.

low season periods

If the booking is cancelled 7 days or more prior to arrival, a full refund will be made less the administration fee of $50.00.

If the booking is cancelled within 7 days from the date of arrival then the cost of one nights accommodation will be retained from the deposit to cover any shortfall in expected income.  The remainder of deposit monies will be refunded.

short notice bookings

When a booking is made less than 7 days prior to a planned arrival date, payment in full will be required for your stay.  Cancellation will result in no refund being given except for circumstances where the manager’s discretion will be final

NO REFUND for early departures unless prior arrangements made with management.

administration fee

The administration fee covers the cost of processing the booking, receipting and banking the money, canceling the booking from the system, drawing the refund cheque, mailing the refund cheque with a covering letter and meeting bank charges.

Bay Hideaway Resort is a double star rated complex with 4 and 4 ½ Star Resort Villas. A large salt water pool, large undercover BBQ area and large grassed areas for kids to play.

Each villa has its own undercover car park directly at the front of the apartment Additional car parking is provided around the complex for boats and extra vehicles by application.

A 22 metre salt water pool with a pebble beach section for the tiny tots, sun lounges, table & chairs with shade umbrellas.

The BBQ area is situated in the middle of the resort complex overlooking the pool area. It is a 6 x 9 metre open covered area with a 6 metre long stainless steel bench at one end and a stainless steel BBQ at each end. Plenty of tables and chairs to sit back and enjoy that BBQ.

The Bay Hideaway Tour Desk can book a range of tours and attractions including Fraser Island, Whale Watching*, Fishing Trips, Day Tours and much much more. This is a free service and packages can be tailored to suit your requirements on request. *Whalewatching season in Hervey Bay is usually from late July and until November each year, when the Humpback Whales begin their return to the southern ocean.
